Six Foundational Factors

The Six Foundational Factors are the science behind our work. Research shows that nurturing children from the first breath to the first grade leads to children becoming happy, kind, responsible and successful adults. These foundational factors form the core on which we base our resources, training, materials, people development and roadtrips into communities.

  • Love and Respect

Creating a culture of love and respect for self and for others, as the root from which all interactions stem.

  • Physical Safety

Creating and fostering an environment where everyone is secure, fed, and unafraid.

  • Emotional Safety

The fostering of an environment built on compassion, peace and justice for everyone.

  • Resilience

Creating an environment where everyone feels supported and able to recover from difficult situations, whole and happy.

  • Connectedness

Creating an environment where the spirit of Ubuntu is at the core and one experiences meaningful connection with people, and themselves.

  • Knowledge Through Learning

Creating an environment where everyone has access to educational resources.
